Description
John is the Global Head of ESG at KPMG International and ESG Vice Chair at KPMG UK, leading ESG solutions and services for clients. With extensive experience in managing complex transformations, he previously held senior roles in KPMG’s Mergers & Acquisitions Global Centre of Excellence, overseeing major multi-billion-dollar transactions across various sectors.
For over 21 years, John has held multiple leadership positions within KPMG, including serving on the UK Board, where he contributed to strategic direction and the launch of Our Impact Plan, integrating ESG commitments transparently. He was also a member of the People Committee, which oversaw the firm's diversity, equity, and inclusion policies, such as the first-ever Black heritage pay gap report. Additionally, he sits on the KPMG Foundation Board, working to support vulnerable children.
Beyond his corporate roles, John is a strong advocate for ESG, particularly in inclusion, diversity, and social equality. He actively supports initiatives such as The Prince’s Trust, the Disability Confident Business Leaders Group, and the International Business and Diplomatic Exchange.
