Nancy Mahon joined The Estée Lauder Companies in 2006 as Vice President of M·A·C Cosmetics and Executive Director of the M·A·C AIDS Fund, where she played a key role in the company’s social and environmental initiatives. In 2014, she was promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability, contributing to the development of strategies focused on energy, emissions, packaging, and ingredient traceability. In 2023, she was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer, overseeing the company’s sustainability strategy and ESG reporting. Beyond the company, she was appointed by President Obama as Chair of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS and also served as a Private Delegate to the United Nations Commission on Women. She continues to lead the group’s environmental and social commitments while serving as Executive Director of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Charitable Foundation.
