Ruth is a Partner in the International Trade, Excise, and ESG department at KPMG Avocats and Climate and Energy Advisory Leader at KPMG’s Global Decarbonization Hub. With over 15 years of experience, she previously worked at Arsene Taxand before joining KPMG Avocats in 2019. She also spent three years in Brussels as a lawyer, representing clients before European institutions on customs and trade matters. Specializing in customs duties, energy excise taxes, and environmental taxation, she advises multinational companies on free trade agreements, transfer pricing implications, and the impact of climate policies, including the EU Green Deal’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
