This Learning Expedition aims to explore—through both a forward-looking and strategic lens, the emerging levers of resilience across agricultural value chains in the broadest sense: food, natural cosmetic ingredients, oils, fibers, and biomaterials. Particular emphasis will be placed on climate prediction tools, environmental shock adaptation solutions, and strategic and financial resilience management approaches, both at the level of farmers and producers and for companies that depend on these value chains. Key topics will include supply security, the emergence of new agricultural sources, evolving business models, and the return on investment of resilience-driven transformations. Participants will have the opportunity to discover and engage with a curated selection of highly innovative startups, including betterSoil Global Consulting GmbH, Geocledian GmbH, Safia Technologies, Quiddity, Absolute Water PVT LTD, and Inceres, each actively reinventing the agricultural value chains of tomorrow.
